Privacy Policy
How SparkLegal handles your personal data. England & Wales.
Who we are
SparkLegal ("we", "us") operates this website and the estate-planning services it links to. For any privacy question, contact us at contact@sparklegal.co.uk. We act as the data controller for personal data collected through this site.
What we collect
On this hub site we collect very little: basic technical information your browser sends (such as IP address and pages viewed) to keep the site secure and working, and any details you choose to send us when you get in touch.
Our individual services (for example creating a will or a power of attorney) collect the information needed to prepare your documents. That data is handled under the service you use, and you provide it directly there.
How we use your information
To provide and secure the website, to respond to your enquiries, and to improve our services. We rely on our legitimate interests in running the site, and on your consent where required (for example, non-essential cookies).
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the site and services (such as hosting and email), under appropriate agreements, and where required by law.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or to meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law you can ask to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any right, email contact@sparklegal.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to run the site and, where you agree, to understand how it is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
